1964 recordings from San Francisco label Autumn Records.

In 1964 the Beau Brummels broke out of San Francisco to become the forerunners of the multitude of groups to make San Francisco the center of the new sound. Agents and record company producers could be found each weekend haunting the clubs looking for likely new acts. The Beau Brummels were discovered and recorded by Tom Donahue and Bob Mitchell, two San Francisco entrepreneurs and disc jockeys, for their own Autumn label. The Beau Brummels were the first American group to successfully record the English sound. These recordings have been remastered from original tapes to bring today's sound to these great historical hits.

On the label and on the back of the cover the track B4 "Ain't That Lovin' You, Baby" is wrongly credited to D. Malone (= [a661243), author instead of the almost homonym song "Ain't That Lovin' You".
